At KeepEyeOnBall, we are committed to the privacy of our users. Therefore, we want to give you clear, transparent information on how we process your personal data so that you can freely determine whether you want to give us your data.

  • Who we are and what this is

KeepEyeOnBall GmbH ("KeepEyeOnBall") is the producer and owner of a set of web and mobile based applications that help users to create virtual tours to be displayed in the VR headsets, on the desktops and mobile devices.

This privacy policy describes what information we collect when you use our software, how we use that information, and what choices we offer you to access, update and control it. This version of the policy is effective as of the last modified date indicated above.

  • Introduction

In accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 of 13th December on Data Protection ("LOPD" for its abbreviation in Spanish) and Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21st December, approving the Regulation of the LOPD ("RLOPD"), we hereby inform you that when you provide us with your personal data, you consent to your data being processed. We will process your data in order to administer, manage and provide the relationship with KeepEyeOnBall, as well as to expand and improve the services you decide to contract.

When you browse the KeepEyeOnBall Website, you provide us with some information on the pages you are viewing (e.g. your search preferences). At KeepEyeOnBall, we strictly respect the confidentiality of the personal data you provide us with. We will not share your personal information with anyone else, except under the terms described in this Privacy Policy. In order to protect your data, we have implemented the relevant security measures to prevent any unauthorised access to or alteration or loss of your personal data.

  • What can we do with your email address?

When you give KeepEyeOnBall your email address, it is used to create, edit, upload, download and view your tours. KeepEyeOnBall will never give your email address to third parties unless it has your prior authorisation to do so. KeepEyeOnBall does not have access to any emails you may receive in the email address you gave us.

  • How to request access, rectification or deletion of your data

You can do so at any time and free of charge in the following way:
By sending an email to madridoffice@keepeyeonball.com stating "deletion of personal data" in the subject. The email needs to contain:

  • The requestor’s first name and surname
  • The specifics of what’s required
  • The email address you used to register (and indication if it was the email sign in or email and password sign in. In the second case you do not need to provide your password, just indicate that you used to authenticate with a custom password created only for KeepEyeOnBall service)
  • Photocopy of your identity card or passport
  • Contact phone number and postal address
  • Communication with the server

The users may upload tours to the server.
Once the tour has been uploaded to the server and published, it will become accessible online
(with the selected visibility restrictions).
Published tours will be also available on the dedicated viewer applications.

  • Authentication

To be able to fully use our services (e.g. upload tours) you need to authenticate one of the following ways:
Sign in with an existing Google or Facebook account or create a new account based on an existing email and custom password. We use Auth0 for the authentication. Therefore, by signing up and signing in to KeepEyeOnBall service you also agree to the Auth0 Privacy Policy.

Once you sign in to our services, we store the following information, if available: Auth0 user id, name and email.

Additionally, we may attempt to display your profile image or country, where it makes sense, if this information is accessible via Auth0, but we do not store this information.

  • Geolocation data

The app users have the option to enable automatic recognition of the current user location when the user decides to assign a geographical address to a tour by using the Google Location service and / or Google Maps API(s). This address may be used later to be displayed on a Google Map also by using the Google Maps API(s).

By agreeing to use this functionality you also agree to the Google Privacy Policy.

  • Network

The app requires access to the wireless network to upload tours.
